Dr. Felix Seidel
Dr Felix Seidel is an Earth scientist, technology leader and former NASA program manager with more than 20 years of experience in Earth observation, space and environmental research.
During 14 years at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and NASA Headquarters, he led a major Earth science research portfolio, managed scientific investments, supported new missions and technologies, and connected cutting-edge research with real-world challenges, including wildfires and environmental change.
He currently serves as Managing Director of the ETH Swiss GeoLab in Switzerland.
Felix speaks about the transition from Earth observation to Earth intelligence: how satellites, data, AI and geospatial foundation models are changing our ability to understand the planet, anticipate risks and make better decisions.
